Pritz honors LattizoriCoach Steve Lattizori was honored last night at home, receiving a commemorative plaque, marking his milestone 400th career win. Gordon Pritz, Associate Superintendent and a former wrestling coach himself, presented the honor to Coach Lattizori.

Following the honors, the Longhorn wrestling team engaged Lassiter's team in a heated, back and forth dual meet. With 4 weight classes to go, Kell was down 25-24. But following three pins in succession and a technical fall, Kell ended the night on top, winning 47-25.

Ultimately, Kell recorded six (6) pins and won nine of 14 weight classes over Lassiter. Pin falls were recorded by Michael Lattizori, Andrew Stringer, Benjie Grifenhagen, Matt McCrory, Brady Hull and Zach Wade. Yousef Ali picked up the win via technical fall, while Alec Stringer and Mustafa Ali won by decision respectively.

Next on tap for the Longhorns is the County Duals this weekend at Sprayberry.
