Kell Junior Wrestling

Kell Junior Wrestling is a youth / middle school wrestling club dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of the sport of wrestling.  All children grade 1st-8th are eligible to participate.

Season Duration:

First practice is Monday Nov. 1, 2021 (Kell HS Wrestling Room). There will be training dates during February (dates TBA) for those experienced wrestlers planning on attending the youth state wrestling tournament.

Practice Days and Time:

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 6:15pm - 8:00pm

Required Gear:

Wrestling shoes, wrestling headgear, and tighter fitting shorts/ shirts.  Sweatpants are also an option.  No baggy clothes or anything with a lot of pockets, buttons, zippers etc. If wrestlers have braces, they are required to wear a mouth guard.

 Registration Fees:

$200 (includes t-shirt). Additional siblings are $175.   

Each wrestler must also purchase a USA Wrestling Card http://www.teamgeorgiawrestling.com/usawmembership

Additional Information:

Singlet information / order forms to be given at practice.  Tournaments are all optional but highly encouraged. We will also add a few dates where we combine practices/duals with other youth programs/schools to get additional experience.

We will hold a Q&A and registration help session on Nov 3, 2021 6:15 PM at the Kell HS covered patio area by bus port.  .
